John Thomas Young (born February 9, 1949) is a former Major League Baseball player. He played two games at first base for the Detroit Tigers in 1971, going 2-for-4 at the plate.
In 1989, Young helped launch the RBI (Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities) program, a youth outreach program, in Los Angeles.[1]
